Websites were order of the month throughout July with three sites launching and a handful of new projects getting underway. The start of the lockdown period saw a number of business owners refocus their business strategy and invest in their online presence - We are now seeing the fruits of that with websites launching on a weekly basis.

Most notably Be The Best You, who we helped create an online fitness platform to allow their members access to their same great service from the comfort of their own homes, parks, beaches or wherever they take their phones.

Elsewhere we took on a number of logo design and branding jobs and the easing of lockdown restrictions enabled us to go out and provide our photography service again.

As always, you can check out in-depth case studies in our portfolio. To see what we got up to in June please read on!

In the Spotlight: Be The Best You - Online Fitness Platform

Be The Best You online fitness platform - Recipes and meal inspiration available to subscribers (L) as well as a dedicated member hub with fitness tips and training plans

In last month’s review, we shared the photography for the personal training start-up, Be The Best You. Excitingly, a few weeks on we’re pleased to update you with the launch of their new bespoke website design.

The new site offers a hub of fitness content including workout videos, meal inspiration, blogs, and podcasts as well as paid membership content including workout routines, 12-week fitness plans, recipes, and exclusive member content.

We’re really excited to see this site come to life and encourage you to check it out particularly if you have some post lockdown fitness goals!

Graham Palmer Brand Launch

Graham Palmer & Co opened their new premise in Patchway, Bristol in July featuring our new branding.

Graham Palmer & Co. are independent funeral directors based in Bristol, and on a mission to set a new standard of excellence in funeral care, starting with their local community.

We were tasked with branding the new start-up, as well as developing a new website, marketing materials, and photographing their new Bristol premise – everything they needed to get them off the ground. There was a real opportunity to try something different in what is often a cold and soulless industry.

The Graham Palmer & Co. brand identity consists of a bright yet comforting colour scheme, empathetic messaging, and traditional serif typography to provide a more human feel to the brand.

Tanlux Store Opening

Logo design and branding of the Newport based tanning shop - TanLux

TanLux is a start-up tanning brand with a new store open in Newport city centre. They have had to wait patiently to launch the tanning shop following the lockdown period and it is great to see the project come to life considering we first established the brand identity as far back as November 2019.

Having worked alongside our client on previous retail branding projects, including Hi Coffee, we know they display great attention to detail which means we get to realise the branding to its full potential and create a wide number of touchpoints from shop signage to social media promotion, and everything in between.

Tanlux launched via its single-page website earlier in July and has since built up a strong social media following to help them get off to a flying start. Our client had this to say on the branding:

"The team over at Arobase creative have been instrumental in helping me launch my new business with confidence by providing me with a polished brand look. The team is always on hand to respond to requests, and offer help and advice throughout. Their social media content has been pivotal in helping me advertise, and even recruit staff, in my new business. Some of my customers have commented on how the branding looks so good they expected me to be part of a large chain, not an independent. I would not go anywhere else."

Steele Financial Photography

A collection of images from our recent photoshoot for Bristol based accountancy firm - Steele Financial

To coincide with the launch of their new website later in the month, Steele Financial approached us to photograph both their team and offices.

As an energetic and modern accountancy brand, traditional corporate headshots didn’t feel appropriate to capture the personality of the business. We shot warm, candid, and authentic images of the team going about their day to day work and made sure to cover the whole team, including the office pup – Honey!

Astute Safety Consulting Logo Design

New brand identity for Astute Safety Consulting - full brand launching in August.

Alongside a number of big website launches, July gave us the opportunity to work on some great branding projects - notably a rebranding exercise for Bristol-based Astute Safety Consulting.

ASC's new branding, set to launch later in August, leverages the striking visual cues of the health and safety industry - 'fire red' and 'high-vis green' colour palette and bold safety stripes, increasing the companies brand presence and helping to establish ASC as the premier safety consultancy.

To ensure the brand was health and safety compliant at all times we tweaked the Astute logotype to create a hard-hat wearing 'a' that would be sure to make clients smile.
